CRNN FACILITIES
CRNN houses state-of-the-art instrumental facilities in the domain of nanofabrication, characterization of nanomaterials and nanobiology. Clean Room area comprises units of Class 100, 1000 and 10000. Facilities in Clean room include electron beam lithography, optical lithography, molecular beam epitaxy, reactive ion etching system, scanning electron microscopes and transmission electron microscope. Instruments in the fields of optical, magnetic and electrical characterizations include a dedicated Dark Room, spectrometers for electronic and vibrational spectroscopy, particle size analyzer, ellipsometer, SQUID-VSM and electrical workstation. Facilities to perform chemical syntheses and associated equipment for sample preparation are also present. Computational aspect is covered by a cluster computer set-up. In the arena of biological sciences, CRNN is currently equipped with animal cell culture facility and flow cytometry laboratory.
